How to make your Lasagne or Spaghetti Bol a SUPERFOOD

Ask us to add Kidney to your next Grassfed and Finished, Regenerative Farmed and Pasture Raised Beef Order, then hide it in your mince….. it works, trust me

Beef Kidney is a high quality, nutrient-rich organ meat protein and can provide exceptional benefits when incorporated in our diet. It delivers very highly concentrated B12 for our nerve function and red blood formation, Riboflavin and Biotin for healthy hair and skin and can boost our energy levels.

Delivering around 20g of protein per 100g serve, it’s low in calories and fat, and researched confirms it adds iron to your diet, reduces fatigue, can support fertility AND assist brain and cognitive health. It’s just a nutrient dense super food really.

Whether you are into it for the reduced waste nose to tail, increased health benefits like me or just curious, it’s absolutely worth a try next time you order

Tip: cut outside or somewhere well ventilated (it’s smelly) and remove all the fat then cube and soak for around 30 mins…. Helps to reduce smells and the strong flavour (I used vinegar but you can also try milk, a salt water brine or water vinegar mix). I blitz the kidney till it’s completely mashed (I use my Thermomix till it finer than mince, so around 10 seconds speed 8) and then fry off with some onion, garlic and blitzed vegetables (they like to be hidden too) before adding mince and finishing the sauce. Ill upload my amazing spag bol mince recipe shortly. I use it for lasagne as well.
